WOW!!! what an incredible photo! i had no idea that wild boars look so fantastical, reality truly is more unpredictable and imaginative than fiction. perhaps it's the field of purple flowers or the pattern of the fur but man i wish i could experience life like a wild boar as well.

I’ve had really impactful encounters with animals at significant moments of my life - a silver fox on the anniversary of my grandma’s passing (snapped a photo that I’ll attach), a death witch moth on my first trip home in many years, several snapping turtle hatchlings on a day that I had quit a job that was slowly killing me, a mountain lion during summer 2020 when multiply tragedies were happening at once. There are also animals that I see repeatedly on walks that have become meaningful symbols to me- herons, water snakes, hawks, and coyotes especially. I love animals, even the scary ones, and I’m a big believer that they have a lot to teach us
