LAUGHING IT OFF
sometimes moments are so awkward that telling a joke or changing the subject doesn’t really work, so instead i acknowledge the awkwardness and laugh about it 😭😭 it normally breaks the tension

Bring it up!
“LOL so awkward!”, make a light-hearted joke about how it’s kinda awkward! This will break the tension and give a nice openess to the whole situation.
