Especially Christmas/twinkle lights. Fake LED candles?? Don’t get me started. My hatred runs so deep. I think our quality of life has been significantly diminished by replacing everything warm with their cold, soulless glow. everyone pretends it’s fine and the same but it’s NOT. (caveat: there are nice warm LED bulbs, I’m not saying we should go back to halogen, but I am saying we should not be satisfied)
i kinda thought phillips hue bulbs were kinda tacky but i gave in and bought some and my place is vibe central. Can still be tacky depending on the set up however….
Favorite book by my favorite author, it got me back into my childhood love of reading after a long hiatus in college. Wonder is my favorite feeling and Murakami really knows how to imbue a story with it. You do have to put up with him being a perverted freak on every other page but it’s worth it in my opinion.
