1āfriend I met through a mutual ex (because lesbians) plus a friend she made through bumble bff and invited to our group through trivia, and an online friend of the bumble person who ran into us at the bar and joined us for trivia and the rest is history lol (plus my friend who rotated in my lab but joined a different lab for her PhD work and sometimes joins us when she can get a break from being a neuroscientist lol)
2āFriend whose younger sister I became friends with years ago and then the sister introduced me to this friend when they moved out to Maryland from South Dakota a little over a year after I did! Plus a twitter friend of this friend who became an IRL friend of both of us, and sometimes another twitter-to-irl friend who joins us when she can (and graciously drove me to and from my routine colonoscopyābecause crohnās lolāin September lol thank you Leah)
honorable mention to the friends I made through band in 6th grade who were my besties through high school and into college but who I donāt talk to that much anymore because life :( I miss them :/

my high school/early college gf is one of my best friends and will be forever. we had a wonderful friendship before we dated and after taking some time of no contact built back an even stronger platonic bond. especially since we were close during such formative years itās been so rewarding to grow together - out of one form of connection and into so many othersā£ļø

I have a couple friends like this and itās been such a nice social change up. Always a pleasant surprise to bump into them out and about.

I got him at a particularly difficult point in my life and Iāve had him for 6.5 years now wow!!! Heās always been big, just much larger dimensions than a normal cat as well as being a little chubby lol. Heās a sweetie pie and is finally coming around to his little sister š
