This one buzzes with 80s synth groove life but the buoyant aughts twee vocals and implacable synth melancholy keeps it wholly out of time

there was sum crazy substance in the water circa y2k that made everyone the best breakbeat-oriented pop producers the world ever did saw. This one is kinda a mix of Air style downtempo with Talk Talky postrockisms plus Sweet Trip style vocals. Lovely stuff
