I grew up 30 mins from where they filmed twin peaks so my family took me there for my birthday. we had brunch at the great northern (salish lodge) and we drove by the double r so I could get a photo on my film camera. we couldn’t find the twin peaks sign sadly. but I was so happy to get to go back as an actual twin peaks fan bc I didn’t truly appreciate growing up near snoqualmie till I got addicted to the show. rip david lynch and thank you for your work
Go to the book section your local Goodwill. The selection will likely be pretty small. Find something with an pretty cover (whoever said to not judge a book by its cover was a liar), cool title or interesting blurb. Don’t look up the book or the reviews. Just start reading and form your own opinions, without the internet. This method brought me to Philip Margolin’s thriller “Gone, but Not Forgotten,” which I have never previously heard about. It may not be the best book I have ever read, but it is still a fun and intriguing mystery. Definitely a page turner.
This movie was so visually stunning and reality shattering. A mix of Donnie Darko and Buffy the Vampire Slayer with some David Lynch in there, but also made for the queers. Best modern horror film I’ve seen in a while.
