Everytime I come to New York, the first thing I do is go to 8th street near NYU and get a foot massage. Minimum two times per trip. The masseuse always presses a pressure point that will make you either cry or pass out. It’s amazing. Put your headphones in… because there are people moaning next to you.

In virtually any weather at any speed walking from downtown to midtown is one of my favorite activities. If you are bored it’s just a really nice activity to do by yourself or with a friend. It's really meditative, you see neighborhoods change and can look at all these different things on the way. There are some fun places to stop on the way, like Kaluystayans and Dover Street Market or the Morgan Library. Once I arrive in midtown I like going to the Paris Theater, The Grill, or Ice skating in central park. MoMA can be fun too.

I make a solo run to the city every month or so. Usually for a concert, last time was to see Stereophonic (absolutely destroyed me). I find it almost meditative, cathartic to just walk the city without much of a plan aside from the main goal. I think I ate some sort of wrap from a corner store last time. It was a matinee show so I got out and was able to walk until everything ached and I felt better. It always breathes some life back into me after suffering the claustrophobia of home.

I have to be so honest. Fruit sometimes scares me…. Where did it come from? Is it safe? Is it washed? Is it bruised? But if I trick my brain into thinking that it’s the ridiculous one from Erewhon that costs $50 and sits alone on a little plush throne, I’m not scared anymore.

First of all, they make your teeth straighter. Second of all, it feels like you’re back in middle school but your lisp is now cool. (Also I am in love with my orthodontist.)

I’m recently obsessed with a fit pic. My friends and I are back to 2014, doing photoshoots on a random patch of grass. (Blowing on a dandelion vibe…) It’s the only way.
