hello! does anyone have any suggestions for high energy songs that kind of have a sinister energy? these don’t have to be songs with “creepy” or “spooky” lyrics or themes, just a song that you personally find unsettling for any reason. would be awesome if they were a fast enough tempo for cardio! an example i’m using for my personal benchmark is “I’m your boogie man” by KC and the sunshine band. this is due to it’s unnaturally positive energy that tips into being creepy (in my opinion.) i’ll listen to any suggestions and thank you for any replies (if any!) thank you!

They need to do reggaeton mornings like this one more often. I’ve found some of my most addictive songs through what’s playing at the gym and caught my ears “Supernova” by Kylie Minogue “OMG What’s Happening” by Ava Max

this came about from reading the letterboxd reviews of a friend. i know this friend loves trash as much as i do, but noticed they still never gave those movies 5 stars. it seemed to me that even when sharing your personal opinion on something, people sometimes still like to see themselves as “the reviewer”, an objective professional critic in their own bubble, which i found weird when i thought about it. so i made my own radar (or spider) chart with the things that i think make a movie fun/ good or boring/bad and i mark things off this way instead. i have hundreds of them at this point it’s really fun to do and idk i recommend making ur own!

if you have to talk to strangers who give you little back on a regular basis, i’ve found having a list of things i like and things i don’t like has been helpful in several ways! i can either check the lists for a new thing ive added to remind myself for something to say, or ask them if they have their own lists, and what’s on them. most of the time people will say they don’t have one, so this gives you lots of conversation while you workshop what they would put on those lists and they elaborate on why. here are my lists if this interests you
