I still listen to this album but for some reason this song still transports me back to when I first heard it back in 2018: riding my bike after it rained in the springtime and the flowers had just started blooming :-)

I remember listening to this a lot during my senior year of college with my big winter jacket & boots on, walking around campus.
It made me feel like I was in a weird mystery coming of age movie. Weirdly nostalgic now. I wish I could listen to this album for the first time again. <3

theres a slight nostalgia and yearning whenever this plays, especially when I drive. It evokes a feeling of constantly needing to be around my friends but at the same time i kinda wanna ride my bike around an army base (thanks luca), share my straw with him and put my face by a cold gate.

I've loved this album since high school and still rediscover it every few months, less and less lately, but every time I do it reminds me why i bought it on cassette online so I could play it in my shitty bluetooth-less Volkswagen driving around the jersey shore. Such a perfect album. Pink chimneys in Maine Couldn't keep me away.

Sometimes I talk to my family or my coworkers or I hear an influencer online say “I’m just a girl hahaha” and I am like oh my godddd how can you still think like “blue means boy pink means girl” !!! finally using my portable CD player again to listen to my favorite album that isn't on any streaming services anymore!! it's so fun to have physical copies of media I like, and it was great to not use my phone for once (though the CD would pause every time I accidentally bumped into the player while I was walking to class; it was kind of charming but also pretty annoying).
