It’s a shitty nickelodeon show about an american girl at a british boarding school who’s swept up in an egyptian mythology inspired mystery. It was my comfort show on Netflix when I was sick as a kid. One time I binged the two seasons available and started it right back up in the same sitting. I briefly revisited it recently and it’s just as awfully acted and yet exciting as I remember it. Anyways, no one knows it and I need to cast a wider net to see if anyone relates.
starting off with a very loud bang- go watch this cancelled netflix show it's got strong found family vibes and angsty lesbian yearning set in a super rich catholic school (when ya get back to me i'll throw u towards gen v or ginny & georgia)
- silly slapstick but also witty humor at first
- but eventually bittersweet and wholesome
- biting social commentary sprinkled around
I’m not sure why this show isn’t lauded more, it’s an easy comfort watch for me. On Netflix.
I saw one episode as a teen, it left a really strong impression and I vowed someday to finish the series. Ten or so years later, here we are! Such a great show. Highly recommend it, and I relate so hard to the detective, poor guy lol
My boyfriend came across these illustrations looking through a book of french fairytales (adorable) and thought I’d like them and I DO! They’re by Virgina Frances Sterrett and so so so dreamy.
