this is the most *summer* song to me, i can feel the hot air coming in through the windows of a car just by the first beat truly creep by radiohead for people who say #yolo
this year was filled with a lot of making it up as i went along and reminding myself that i do, in fact, have plenty of time. i was figuring out where, who, or what felt right and what to do and how to do it etc, etc, and this song was just a calming anthem to return to. i also have fond memories of listening to it (maybe a little too much) during the summer, and i really miss those sweaty firefly filled nights. this was one of the first summers iโve ever missed; i usually despise the heat. so, i feel like that stands for something.
this song has been on my summer playlists ever since i heard it for the first time while cleaning out my parentsโ garage a few years ago, and i will always associate it with the feeling of hot concrete under my bare feet!
physically writing down the answers feeds into my grandpa-ness co-rec is having a cup of hot tea, it helps when you get stuck on 23 across and need a pick-me-up
