Went on a walk in a beautiful neighborhood last night with my headphones in. on my walk I passed another guy doing the same thing. Decided it’s the middle of a thunderstorm and looks so cool outside I’m gonna take a walk. religious experience with the right music.

for years i’ve brought my headphones on every walk but recently been making more of an effort to be present in the moment in general. taking a wander and being able to listen to your surroundings makes the time feel more relaxed sometimes. love my tunes though just nice to choose mindfully !!

went on a walk today and my headphones died 10 minutes in. at first i was horribly disappointed but i think it gave me exactly what i needed. when i walk with my headphones on but no music playing i can hear my breathing so clearly over the traffic and the people and jumble of noises it brings me back into my body. 10/10 recommend

just discovered Jane removers side project venturing. idk if there could’ve been a better time to discover this album, right in the middle of a thunderstorm. this album currently has me so happy despite how grim it is. when I say grim it is fucking grim and gloomy but holy shit it’s so good. i havent been this excited for an album in a long time except for Alex gs upcoming album. the song something has to change had me tearing up. if you haven’t, go check it out asap.
