I have watched a lot of fucked up stuff in my life (real/fiction) and honestly there is very little that has come close to the level of sheer trauma that God's Country has inflicted on me. I cant stop listening to it, but continuing to listen at this point would constitute an act of self destruction. 10/10, unfortunately, that we live in a hell world where this gets created.

I think I've bawled my eyes out to every track at this point for different reasons. not even exaggerating. once you think you're done with it you get hit with a brand new emotion and find new symbolism in the lyrics. and another painful feeling to unfurl and free yourself from. if I could get everyone to listen to an album this would be my pick

i started listening to frankie cosmos in the beginning of my first relationship at 15 and although thinking about that relationship doesn’t bring me any joy or peace, i associate the innocence of teenage love with the soft gentle sound of frankie cosmos! a superpower of mine is not letting my favorite songs get ruined by people and i am so lucky to be able to keep good memories with me
