I a l w a y s think i’ve forgotten something and have to check like five times that I have everything. It doesn’t help that I overpack and have a tonne of crap with me that I need to remember. or that in 3 days i’ve gotten use to just needing my phone to pay for things.

Okay so I definitely left my carry on at tsa and the plane left without me and now I have to wait 12 extra hours to go home. I took 4 Benadryls and I’m hoping airport mania kicks in and I enter a groundhogs day scenario where I remember my bag and successfully board the plane

1. Wait until the night before you leave, meander until 8 or 9
2. Select background entertainment—a comfort watch? A new playlist? The right background entertainment is crucial, best not to rush this process (30min)
3. clean up the room a bit so you have places to spread out what you’re going to pack (20-40min)
4. Fashion show! Try on and consider different outfit combos, set them out where everything can be visible at once (1.5-2.5 hours)
5. You’ve made your selections! Start organizing into packing cubes to fit nicely in your bag (30min)
6. You’ve run out of space! Time to reevaluate your outfits and try again (30min)
7. toiletries! you never cleaned out your travel containers from last trip, so you have to do it now. You make a mess in the sink pouring your potions into TSA-approved bottles (they might still take them away) (20min)
8. Dont forget to take out the garbage and water the plants! (5-10min)
9. Time for bed! Your Uber is picking you up in three hours 💋
