Saw Tejon Street Corner Thieves tonight at my favorite punk bar in Baltimore, and finally joined the circle pit since I didn’t do it when I first saw them 2 years ago (and have regretted it ever since). Would recommend. Tbh I’d recommend other types of mosh pits too, so long as you trust the vibe of the crowd at the show! I moshed at a Meet Me @ The Altar set a while ago and I still think of it fondly lol also, have some pics I took at the venue tonight, starting with one where the a member of the previous band went ham on the harmonica lol

i just went to my first punk show in my city, since a friend of mine’s band was playing and he invited me. it was at 8pm at a coffee shop, and i felt very out of place at first among these people who are so much more incredibly cool than me. then, the music started, and i realized that i was headbanging just like everyone else. girls asked me to hold their things when they went to mosh, and i helped people up off the floor when they fell in the pit. it was a very unifying experience and i met lots of real weirdos (which i love). highly recommend

Was at a show last night and the dj hit play on a bouncy techno jam to close it out, got on the floor and started a mosh pit. Bumping shoulders, hugging, jumping up and down, holding hands, and everyone smiling and laughing. Something about the contact and chaos and care that makes it incredibly special. So much fun if the vibe is right

not talking about the insane shit where people actually seem like they're trying to kill eachother/themselves. but i've been going to a lot of rock shows recently and let me tell u from now on i finna be in the pit. it is so freeing to be able to flail and throw yourself around without anyone batting an eye because they're doing it too. i'll take some hits and some bruises i do not mind. plus, in every experience i've had of this so far everyone has been so unbelievably kind, & sometimes people even apologise for bumping into you afterwards even though that's the point. great way to let your energy out and engage with the loud ass sounds you've come to enjoy. rock on, baby!

I got him at a particularly difficult point in my life and I’ve had him for 6.5 years now wow!!! He’s always been big, just much larger dimensions than a normal cat as well as being a little chubby lol. He’s a sweetie pie and is finally coming around to his little sister 💛
