This was a team effort between me and my best friend, we run a lgbtq+ organization in our small town. We did face some backlash but the event was a huge success. The setbacks were the music I had booked cancelled, and we had to find some more music last minute as well as my band performing as a duo. Iβm mostly proud of my friend because he did the majority of the work when things didnβt go as planned.

the mixer was rad and it was so nice to socialize with people outside of my social circle in my home city space lmao

i remember watching this movie upon release when i was SIX! let me tell u i was enthralled. there was some cheapness to its theatrics which spoke to my little heart in the same way that all the Bratz movies did. i think it was something about the fantasy of kicking ass and looking cute doing it. i dunno, i was six.
this also was my introduction to bjΓΆrk. fucking banging soundtrack and crazy sfx. the opening scene being narrated by Emily Browning's Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) kicked my ass into action.
