one of my closest friends drew me this sketch a few weeks ago and it’s already made my entire year. little handmade reminders of love are so important!!
if y’all or your children (especially children, this would be soooo cute!!!) are inspired, do a lil painting or drawing of a place/scene/room/house that you’re staying in while you’re there. when we were little my aunts had a condo on the beach and we’d stay for a week every year. my dad would sit on the balcony and paint a watercolor of the ocean for them as a gift every year. this and maybe a gift card to their favorite local place could be really fun as a thank you.
