so i just got my driver’s license a few weeks ago (i know! i know! give me my roses already) and although i am a gigantic music lover, i find that music distracts me too much so i’ve been on a temporary music hiatus and i have been playing many podcasts to start off my morning and to drive to work to. it’s been very fun and my brain is expanding
i don’t usually just listen to a specific song, artist, or album on repeat unless it’s “crush” by tessa violet or sia’s deluxe christmas album but my daylist is my usual go-to but this week i started listening to the trypod on the way to and from work and i’ve never listened to a podcast before, but i did used to sit on discord voice calls with my friends just to listen to them chat and game so it still felt familiar and comforting to laugh to myself in my car
There are podcasts for just about anything these days. Great way to learn something new or expand on your interests while driving/cooking/getting ready/etc.
i am a journalist for a local zine & i get to host my first interview today, interviewing a local music venue/kava bar so insanely thrilled. adrenaline thru the roof. getting to learn about someone else, having a conversation with impressive people solely about them, being a listener. everyone should interview, even if it’s not for something published
i applied to move up in my job, to a salary position with my own office sort of move up . .
had my interview, ate my cake,
now i have a ‘9am meeting’ over the position
