MOVIE MUSICALS

I love musicals!! There is nothing more americana than a corny movie adaptation of an even cornier broadway musical :’) Their spirit overcomes their technical shortcomings! And you can get lost in the sauce of incredulous technicolor costuming and dance numbers. I just watched Bye Bye Birdie (1963) and it was so bad in all the right ways, can’t recommend enough!

i grew up watching movies like singing in the rain, top hat, west side story with my dad - i remember every morning he would wake me up with the "good morning, good morning" song from singing in the rain - i genuinely value those experiences together so much

I OVERTHINK WAY TOO MUCH

Im working on an album and I keep going back and forth on aesthetics and visions. The music is almost done (concept-wise) but the idea of promo and actually getting it out there can be so overwhelming. I’m still super excited to put it out, I just really hope that it gets heard. 🖤
