i collect sponges
not like alive ocean sponges but just regular old sponges for cleaning and such. i have a huge love for them and i actually will go out shopping just in hopes of finding a type of sponge i don't have already. i don't really collect smaller sponges like for dishes, usually larger ones like car sponges or grout sponges. i especially love grout sponges. i have almost 40 sponges currently. i have specific sponges that i hope to get someday, like a grid-cut car sponge, a set from this brand called brick & bone, a big oval sponge from a brand called armaly, a clamshell sponge, an ardex sponge. i would really like to have an epoxy sponge someday. my sponges make me happy. something about the feeling of them in my hands is just very pleasing. i sometimes put a little bit of hand soap in a bowl with some water and squeeze it through my sponges over and over again. i've never met anyone else that really cares about sponges at all, so i guess that makes it niche. i'm just a sponge loving girl!

that’s so cool!! i‘ve never known anyone to collect sponges either, but that’s such an awesome thing to be interested in. they’ve got such interesting textures and such. i would love to see some of them if you’re willing to share <3

I’ve been obsessed with snails since I was 5 and over the years have amassed a collection of items with snails: plate, print, spoonrest, Jellycat, painting. It makes me happy having objects related to a steady fascination and I’m excited to collect more !

COLlecting seashells by the seashore (name sally not required)
I picked up every single one and said ”this must be the prettiest shell at the whole beach” and I meant it every time (peep selection game 😎) now I have treasure and jewels to bring back to mine sweet friends Tag yourself I’m across 5 down 6 <3<3

when i was 13 the shitty dark shadows film adaptation was released and it was literally awful (i watched the soap opera dark shadows a lot as a kid and loved it) but i was obsessed with barnabas in it and i would listen to she will be loved by maroon 5 and imagine him watching me through my window and it would literally make me cry. LMAO
