If something takes less than two minutes, do it right away.
Do it as soon as you think about it, instead of continuing to put it off, at work and in your personal life.
Different than the other ones mentioned here. It’s about forming a habit. If you’re feeling overwhelmed starting a new habit, just do it for two minutes to start developing the habit. It’s a lot easier to start something if you know you can be done in two minutes.
If there is something you are dreading/scared to do, just throw yourself into it and do it, don’t worry about doing it right necessarily. Make it fear you with how directly you’re attacking it, flip the script. Thanks Nike. Prioritize action to inaction. Semi related too, if there’s something you want to put off that takes less then 5 minutes, always do it then.
