This is an android flip phone that I deleted all the apps off of. it allows me to not be distracted by my phone (except for when I use it to hot-spot my computer to get all that sweet dopamine). Honestly, my sim card goes back and forth between this and an iphone… but life is a lot easier to manage when the Cat S 22 is in charge (which it currently is not).

been wanting to make a switch like this and didn’t even think about being able to transferring the sim card back and forth, definitely going to be making the switch now.

At the start of the new year i vegan using an iPhone 5s as a ‘dumbphone‘ in place of my normal iPhone 15. dumb phone life is so much more worth living to me. no doomscrolling to be don. i was sleeping better and more present in daily life. unfortunately the service on the 5s was not reliable enough (boooo american companies 4 shutting down 3g towers) phone for me to drive across the country with but i will be switching my sim card back to it ASAP. (it’s just an annoying process as my 15 has an esim and I gotta go to the store and all that.) attaching a mirror selfie w my benjamin franklin case in all its glory:

I use notebooks and sketchbooks a lot and something I’ve started doing recently is covering errors with sticky notes. Need to re-write your second verse? Throw a sticky note over the old version and rewrite it. (then I glue it down with a glue stick) Same with the sketchbook - totally ashamed of that embarrassing thing you just drew? Cover it with a sticky note and try again!

my trusty sewing machine where I make clothes fit just how I want them to (or at least try). I get impatient with pinning things though, so I do a lot of winging it and making things uneven.

Another solution I’ve started using recently… where is the page where I wrote out my current patch-bay configuration? Oh I just need to turn to the tab I marked with PATCH. the plastic holder thing clips onto your notebook and then they’re always with you (unless you forgot your notebook somewhere)
