Right? I myself had mixed feelings about this but I also think itās pertinent to show those perspectives, not to comply to their desire on how protestors should portray themselves, since theyāre pretty much treating it like its a performance, when in reality, people are fighting for their lives, but rather for people to be aware at the extremist ideas that are taking up space in such places considered mainstream, which I think plays into the normalization of fascist discourse, having it be disguised as ājust sharing everyoneās opinionā. I should have clarified that previously (sorry), but instead I originally included one of the paragraphs that talks about the tendency to caricature war by antagonizing flags, which evidently gets displayed here because of the trivialities they get into in that same article :(
