this book (novella, really) kicked off a big year of animal-magical realism reads for me that have been nothing but fascinating. 10/10 read -- I'm thinking about it still months later.
this used to rank low for me in the discog save for their best song (Grounded) appearing on this record but i feel its finally clicking. maybe the most expansive/adventurous indie record of the 90βs
