a lot of places like pharmacies or libraries will provide it at no cost. it's a good thing to keep in your car or your bag, you never know when you might stumble across someone who needs it. if you're in the US, depending on your state, there's probably a directory you can find online of locations that provide it. i live in NY, and there's a publicly available list of all the participating pharmacies.

more info/context: to get mine, i reached out to a harm reduction organization where i live, which is a county wide organization (though it's based in my city) and asked them about it. They ended up delivering it to my house within an hour of calling, completely free. 6 doses of name brand narcan in an hour for free to my door with one phone call. if these services are available, you have no excuse!

i was quite fascinated by this. when i was at mission beach in San Diego a group of college students were handing it out, then a person came over and said thank you to them, he had some on hand and saved his friend a few nights ago. its a wonderful thing to provide free, but it also felt very foreign to me, since im not really in a place where i will most likely experience that situation.

getting your adhd meds by mail-order pharmacies if no irl places have them

Because of the shortage, no physical CVS locations have my vyvanse, but their mail order service Caremark, does!! if your pharmacy does mail order that could be an option.

back when xans didn’t have fent and lean was $40 a line and even that was expensive. I still remember what actavis tastes like! (I’m 9 years sober btw) it was fun while it lasted.
