my house has the oldest fridge know to man, and there’s famously no freezer space. but my new york sublet has an icemaker. freezing cold water has been tasting better than soda lately, and that says a lot coming from me. sometimes i squeeze in a cheeky lemon before my fire escape cig
its just the devils teeth rattling around in a cup waiting to assault you as soon as you tip the glass back. love me some cold water but i would gladly take room temp water over the frustration of drinking around the single worst thing to come out of a freezer.
didn't have an ice machine for the longest time, but now i'm back with my parents for a bit and they have a somewhat fancy refrigerator with and ice and water dispenser! i had been going for cubes and living my best life. yesterday, someone else had set the ice settings to crushed, and i was in awe of the texture!!!!
i’ve done this platonically and romantically recently. and both seem to be working out. i love talking on the phone. we should all talk on the phone more often
