I will never forget the way that final event goes down. I read about makeup artists hiding behind counters and applying makeup in between turns of the camera. Incredibly high number of crew working on that set.
And besides all that nerdiness, it’s one of the most gripping sequences I’ve ever seen. Love love love that episode.

i still have a few episodes left of this, and while i liked some much more than others, i would recommend this series overall (it's just one season) for its mood, complexity, and uniqueness, and also style. it is very dark in terms of content but i think it handles more difficult storylines with sensitivity. check it out if you like strange supernatural & psychological mysteries!!

did not understand the hype until now. jodie foster is -excuse my pun- killing it. such a good representation of a piece of shit small town cop who desperately needs therapy. time to watch S1 while i wait for the second half!
