I love this era where the Flips music was interstellar but still to a degree college rock, not a lot of other music like that besides Transmissions from the Satellite Heart and particularly Clouds Taste Metallic, I wish there was more recorded material from Ronald Jones!!
@MILKCRATE I've got Satellite Heart on right now and it's much closer to the indie I usually listen to but I wouldn't love them if it weren't for their later output. They played all of Yoshimi live when I saw them and it was absolutely fantastic
@LUDWIG Ahhh well I love Yoshimi too and it was my way into the band, that's really cool that you saw them play the whole album. I ought to see them again because I only saw them as a tween and they were touring with Weezer and it was rotating set where they'd each play a few songs and then switch off . Killed the atmosphere🤦♂️
@MILKCRATE very strange concept. They put on a huge show with tons of props and huge robots on stage. Lots of fun!
