I did not know, forgive my ignorance - try boiling them first so that they can no longer function prior to ingesting, maybe toss them in a sauce of butter and garlic, with some black pepper, parsley, and parmigiano reggiano?

I perhaps will try your recipe, though I myself am a man of the pecorino variety as opposed to parmigiano
