THE GRIMM SERIES BY ADAM GIDWITZ

i know its a children’s book BUT HEAR ME OUT!!! it’s such a good book and if you know me then you know how much i love fantasy, especially when it’s dark fairytale based. Adam Gidwitz is an amazing author and adds a comedy element to these stories in the best way. If you’d like something quick, funny, and a little dark and quirky you’d love this series

I’m pretty new to this genre but wanted to comment to help this ask get more visibility!! You’ve probably already read Babel by RF Kuang, but some others that might qualify (for dark academia fantasy) are the books in the Scholomance series by Naomi Novik. Also idk if you’re interested in video games but Fire Emblem: Three Houses for Nintendo Switch is dark academia fantasy and one of my favorite games ever!
