Reread children’s books

i reread the picture book “the library” by sarah stewart, it was so cute and had some lez undertones. i felt whimsy and sweet. i read a bunch of others too and the pure shots of nostalgia back to back was intoxicating

reminiscing on childhood book favorites

i ate this book series up as a child…i had so many of the books but i tucked it away in my memory. madonna may have only given a partial slay with this but i'm pretty sure the illustration style was greatly responsible for the direction of my art like 16 years later
