The Inter-Borough Express is a proposed light-rail line that would connect currently under-served parts of Brooklyn and Queens. There is more travel between Brooklyn and Queens on a daily basis than travel between either borough and Manhattan. This project has kind of been in pre-planning hell forever and it‘s a shame because it would make so many people’s lives easier, myself included. The subway system is so centered around Manhattan to the point where getting to another neighborhood in your borough can involve having to go all the way up there to transfer. And as much as I love the buses in Queens they cann never beat a train for me. So get your shit together MTA and GIVE HER TO ME!!!!!
