Rec'd on 👟 6/19: WHAT PAIR OF SHOES HAVE YOU WORN TO DEATH?

the danskos are the only ones id rec as they’ve actually held up. The flats are from target when I was in 5th grade in 2006 and they still go with everything and don’t have holes yet. Middle is my 8th (2009) grade laceless conversethat were my gym shoes for my powerlifting phase despite no longer being waterproof. Last is my first pair of danskos from freshman year in college in 2014 and I still wear them to work on a weekly basis. I have many more geriatric crumbling shoes but these are just the ones I’ve worn recently lmao

VANS & BIRKENSTOCKS

for almost 3 straight years in high school I wore the same pair of black and white checkerboard vans. I wore holes in the tops from walking around. They were so comfortable and easy to slip on in the mornings when I was half awake. I even painted flowers all over them! They were replaced by Birkenstock slides that I still wear to this day. Its been roughly 5 years since I graduated high school. They look super rough, but they haven’t fallen apart!

Danskos

GOATED. Back in the day I used to work in Keds. KEDS. Until I reached the age where they did not cut it. Since I was on my feet all day at the time, I searched “what shoes do nurses wear?” And I found ✨DANSKOS ✨ By far the comfiest shoe I own. Have I ever worried about them not being stylish? No. Everything I wear is cute and cool, because I am cute and cool... bitch....
