I have an hour between my work-study and my internship which gives me just enough time to stop my my fav local coffee spot (Matryoshka) on the way to get a cortado and sip and chat with the baristas. they also have really good specialty drinks and i’ll get the new ones whenever they drop. today one of the baristas remembered that I mentioned liking candies with unusual mouthfeels and gave me one of their favorites to try. always worth a lil stop for my sweet/caffeinated treat

the Best drink offered in the espresso world. Been drinking these for many years now and they always hit the spot. I like that I don’t have to commit to holding a hot or cold cup for the next hour+ (I’m a sipper).
a well tuned cortado can give you so much flavor without sweeteners, let you enjoy milk without drinking 13 ounces of it, and you usually get a cute, tiny cup that people comment on
