100% agree as someone from WA it weights on my heart to know the goddamned pickleball spawned from our beautiful islands all cause some fuckass rich kids couldnt get their hands on coke in the 90’s and now i have to deal with the inevitable question of “whats the official sport of WA?” and answer??? pickle. ball. someone said gentrifier sport and do u want to know what seattle has looked like the past three fucking summers. do u want to know whats become of every city park. of every locked off, dilapidated basketball court waiting to be demolished and turned into developer ass ”luxury” non-ac-having millennial grey ass aprtments with windows that dont fuckin open. even the fuckin skateparks. I know, it’s obnoxious to be part of this trendy bandwagon. For all I know, you’re someone who has called to complain about the sound of people playing the game, which I’ve heard happens in certain neighborhoods. I get it. It’s essentially very loud and very big ping pong. If I can make one argument for taking up the sport, I’d say it’s that the age range of people with whom you hang out will expand greatly. The other day, I played with a 10-year old, a 30-year old, and a 70-year old. Plus, it’s a real-life interaction, and it’s easy to come up short on those sometimes.

I love trains so much.I think there the peak of human invention.Especially bullet trains, your telling me a train is going fast af but u just chilling and enjoying insane views and u don’t feel the speed he’ll yea.I think that instead of having cars and highways we get a bunch of train systems and trains to take us everywhere we gotta go. BRING BACK BLACK AND WHITE FILMS

Before continuing with this take,I want to clarify that not all films should be black and white.There are some films that color is necessary and look incredible.A example would be the grand Budapest hotel.But I’ve recently been watching a lot of black and white film like 8 1/2, Seven Samurai and The passion of Joan of arc and a bunch more with some of my favorite movies being black and white like La Haine and down by law.Black and white films are so beautiful and offer a tone that films with color can’t come close too.I feel so much more immersed with the whole film when it’s in black and white.I also love when films go back and forth between black and white and color often to shift between the past and the present.I think modern film makers could make some really cool stuff with black and white film and take the black and white film genre to its full potential .If you guys no any really cool black and white films let me know.
