Specifically, the titular Exit Zero ๐ฆ and Viola In Midwinter ๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธ, both of which left me feeling as if I had just finished a novel.

Absolutely loved this uncanny collection of short stories. Ling Ma creates depth and discomfort in her characters so well, and creeps up on you with narratives thatโll leave you thinking.
Severance (her novel) was also one of my favorite reads last year.
