there’s nothing worse than the feeling of sweaty makeup. heat brings out the worst in me so i do not want to have to deal with my mascara running on top of that!

Its Summer. i know I will sweat, and I will scrunch my eyes , and I will eat food. these days I try to do my makeup so that it ages well - soft, blurry undereyeliner that will travel and smudge in a way that looks intentionally grungy, lip products that either stain well or look good faded. You get the idea. You shouldn’t have to spend the day wondering whether your makeup has started to look weird, or have to reapply your face every couple of hours is all I’m saying.

With a little tinted sunscreen because I gotta protect my skin!!! This is not a statement against make up whatsoever, I just never learned so I don’t really feel comfortable wearing it. sometimes I’ll get a little crazy and throw on some mascara or lipstick 🤪
I feel very uncomfortable having my face out on the Internet for some reason so I’m doing it as a fuck you to my anxiety, but rest assured, I will delete it in a few hours 🥰

i’ve stumbled upon this app (ive been aware and a fan of perfectly imperfect already ofc!) and it is so joyous! i yearn for more small sort of old internet blogg-y sites or apps like this. i will recommend are.na as another fav although that is less posting your pics and more collecting little internet finds etc.. but for the pinterest picture gatherers it is perf! i must give my applause here though, excited to see what is in store ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
