My partner gave me these small charms for Christmas last year. I had been dreaming of getting them for forever but for some reason I could never find any posted online! I love wearing them on necklaces or my bags. They’re so small and cute! I am so thankful that my partner found them <3

I hadn’t thought of these as charms before but I suppose that’s how I treat them??
1. I collect vintage copies of Jane Eyre, but this is my smallest one and as a result it has gone on every trip with me over the past few years since I bought it. Even if I never open it during the trip, I feel better knowing it’s there if I need it, like a portable safe space (especially if the trip is stressful)
2. The necklace with a magnolia flower supposedly represents creativity, so I wear it almost every day as a reminder of what I want to try bringing to the world or seeing in the world (lil corny but true)
3. One of my best friends gave me the ring for my birthday, not knowing I had planned to buy myself a ring to commemorate finishing my first novel that same month—so now whenever I feel discouraged about my writing or ongoing projects, I wear it to remind me I did The Thing before so I can do it again!!!

Made this little pocket altar earlier this year and take it with me in all of my bags as a good luck charm. In it are little charms passed down throughout my family, a locket with pics of my parents in it, a ballerina from a bracelet my great grandma gave me at my first dance recital (when I was 3), and a mini Polaroid of my cutie gf 🥹💖💫

not sure if these are a thing outside of japan/asia but i love the cute plushy ones especially. i could be wearing an all black, grungy outfit , but when you see my bag charm you’ll know i’m a lil softie at heart <3
also complimenting someone else’s bag charm can be a great conversation starter since they can be so personal and unique~!

OKAY I know this is silly!! This picture was of one of my first pottery pieces that I threw on the wheel, trimmed and glazed successfully in college. I remember being so proud of myself. I miss my pottery class so much . I had so much fun in this class and it really made me want to take art seriously. Also I just love how silly this Garfield looks

a friend recommended them to me a couple weeks ago. I immediately fell in love. It reminds me of Cocteau Twins. I think they helped work on some of the songs if I am not mistaken. I have been needing some new music to listen to so this came at the perfect time. relaxing easy listening music, my fav.
