okay so apparently I’m in my hormonal acne era (<3) and like i hate smothering acne in concealer cause it feels icky and usually ends up looking icky and also like almost definitely makes the situation worse BUT the regular clear acne patches like turn white w ur acne gunk and I just cannot be showing that off to the world personally BUT the regular starface colors always felt a little too distracting for me and also like maybe a little too teenager energy for my personal preference at this time in my life? but these colors are perfect they’re like cute but not like HERE I AM yk? Also I always assumed starface is more expensive than other patches but these are 32 for $11 which is pretty comparable anyway they been making me feel better about the whole situation so love that for me and maybe for you

I was gifted a box of these pimple patches by @julie_schott and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Not to mention it was the Hello Kitty collab. I’ve suffered from dermatillomania (skin picking disorder) since middle school which falls under the umbrella of OCD. I used to have trichotillomania (hair pulling) but that just wasn’t visceral enough for me. It’s still a pretty intense source of shame for me but these are so fucking cute that it overrides my brain’s compulsion to rip them off my skin and eat them. That's on behaviour modification purrrrr.

I struggle with both acne and dermatillomania (fun combo). The thing which best stops me from picking at my face is pimple patches, and this in turn helps my skin so much. They are usually super overpriced for the cute ones, but in Australia you can get these ones for like $8 for 36 which is pretty cool.

for me, pimple patches really help break the habit. they are hydrocolloid patches and usually have ingredients in them that resolve acne quickly and they are pretty cheap too! you can even get pretty ones.
