As someone who has a hard time getting rid of t-shirts, I've amassed dozens and dozens over the years. the two biggest categories would be Dead shirts and Philly band shirts (which I know is missing a Radiator Hospital t). the full range of the collection spans bootleg finds on insta of Lana, Neil young, pharaoh sanders tie dye, VW fotb-era bootlegs to official merch from gigs throughout the years, with a heavy parquet courts representation.
[for yourself not for sale, unless u want to] my entry level deadhead status is showing but I absolutely LOVE just coming up with my own design for a band / artist Im a fan of. I use a heat press on some thrifted shirts and go to TOWN. Sorry but there’s a very limited selection of cool Liz Phair shirts for cheap so why not just make my own sick ass design. Pictured below are just a few. Bonus fun points for minor cropping
paramore just dropped a bunch of new merch and it’s super sick. just reminded me of how much i love band merch. genuinely half of my clothes are merch in some way. i have a problem buying tshirts. give me a sticker give me a tshirt give me a lighter give me a zine. ESPECIALLY IF ITS DIY!!! let me buy your merch and support your art 🫶 i love styling merch too it’s so fun.
Get a haircut, get rid of some clothes you haven’t worn in years, get a new houseplant, get in touch with the changing season, get grounded, get stoned, get in touch with some old friends, get some ice cream, get going
Friends you met out in the neighborhood at a bar or park or cafe or wherever a couple times and struck up a rapport with.
You don’t have eachother’s phone numbers, no social media info.
I have a couple friends like this and it’s been such a nice social change up. Always a pleasant surprise to bump into them out and about.
