i feel like there's beauty in not always knowing whats going on. my favorite part about being in a group setting is when people are talking about subjects you have little to no information about and having the chance to observe and absorb. old me would have felt insecure in this situation but i've learned that shutting up and being "clueless" is kinda fun lol.

Good strategy when in foreign language situations and an enforcer is telling you no because of some random rule and if your really nice and totally bewildered they will prob let it slide.

There's a quote I heard and I don't know who said it first, it goes; If you find yourself the smartest person in the room it's wise to find another room.

i’ve always felt so comfortable being loud and being seen and being the center of attention. but damn... shutting up and genuinely listening to what everyone around you has to say is really awesome. you learn so much about who people truly are, rather than who they tell you they are.

what fun is having, knowing, seeing, everything? I am so glad there are things I don’t know, will never know, will never see. It makes the things I do know and see that much more great. I have consciously developed a habit of, if someone I hold dear really loves something, I will go out of my way to avoid learning too much about it so that they can teach me about it, and I can experience it with them.

and it's SO ok if you don't because that's me too! it's just that i'm in the phase of figuring out after graduation so i tend to be drawn into people that are insightful or ambitious of what they're doing, so that i can get some sort of inspiration. not necessarily job-wise, could be anything that makes someone a yapper in an instant even if it's just a hobby 🌸

shake what your mama gave ya ⭐️bonus points⭐️ if you do it in front of the mirror. i've become a happier person since i started pole dancing. it's a scientific and spiritual fact that dancing significantly contributes to overall well-being and happiness. dancing stimulates the release of endorphins, which are natural mood boosters and pain relievers!!!

and no, im not talking about the movie (but if you haven't seen it go fix that. julie brown as candy is everything) im talking about how we keep giving chances to guys who clearly don't see our worth. we are out here sexy, weird, soft and sweet and they act like we're lucky to be in their presence? nah. i recommend that you remember: ✨YOU ARE THE PRIZE✨ not some guy who looks like he snuck onto earth. (unless he looks like jeff goldblum)
