This is how light it still was when I got into bed at 9pm last night. That feels crazy to me. Got me thinking about the solstice. im sure I could look up a simple explanation but the idea that the solstice affects the entire world on the same day is crazy to me. We ALL have the longest/shortest day of the year on the same day.

today the sun is exactly above the equator, meaning day and night are equal length and both hemispheres get an equal amount of sunlight! :) โ๏ธ๐
