The best tacos in LA, it’s my go to lunch spot. I love their watermelon agua frescas, the queso tacos, and the fact it’s in a strip mall and owned by a highland park native.
It’s where my friends took me for the first time I spent a week in LA. I think I went back 3 times? It’s so good, such great vibes from the owner, and their agua frescas are chefs kiss.
I was in the park the other day on a summer Friday early evening and so many groups of friends were hanging out having drinks playing games listening to music having lol’ times and it made me think wow I bet a Friday hang in public park was probably very similar 100+ years ago. Cool to have a hang activity that feels super eternal like that
