HAVING INTERNET FRIENDS
I have had internet friends since pretty much forever and still keep in touch with people I met on tumblr and early instagram. I love being like, ”oh yeah my internet friend“ it makes me feel tapped in to another portal of life. And it’s soooo fun when you get a serendipitous opportunity to meet in person

some of my best and closest friend are internet friends i met in high school and college! it’s like “how do you have a friend in LA if you’ve never been?” through the power of love and wifi my friends

Making friends on the internet but in a chill way
one of my favorite activities When I was 13 I started making friends on Xanga - some of who have become my closest long term friends IRL. I think it’s neat that something as simple as a shared love for a band can spawn such deep long lasting friendships that take you who knows where.
