my roommate and i are currently considering fostering or even adopting a dog for our household. we’ve given the hypothetical dog the name Benton and have even devised a backstory and future with him. we can’t help but wonder if it’s easier for us to accept that the dog will love us when romantic interests seem to go nowhere. in this digital age of hinge or bumble are we left to adopt because we can’t handle our own forever homes?

oh my god. this is bonnie. she is a 7 year old dappled dachshund, and an absolute angel. she wont stop kissing me and wants to be in my arms at all times. she is available in NYC through pupstarz rescue and i imagine she will get adopted fast, so you should apply to adopt her right now.

A coworker recently said that her friend always asks first dates if they act more like a dog (go off on their own, pout) or a baby (desperately needs taking care of) when they get sick. This question is my new obsession. I’m a baby who likes to be left alone. So maybe a puppy? What about you?

i was at Village Merchants and saw a portrait of a woman with a wildly large, like truly an outrageously sized hat, and i thought to myself where did these go and how can we incorporate these back into modern society. i’m ready for a renaissance. are you?
