finally made it to Fest, which is a big punk music festival in Gainesville. i volunteered with some of my friends and we got free tickets in exchange for doing an 8 hour shift. it was so fun hopping from show to show with all my favorite people. and almost dying in the joyce manor pit and then going crazy in the gilt linkin park cover set pit
I went last year with a couple of friends sort of on a whim and hands down one of the best shows Iโve ever been to. Despite loving pop music I havenโt been to a ton of fully pop concerts and to get to see one in a smaller venue and not a huge stadium was such a treat. The theatrics were up there with seeing The Flaming Lips and Of Montreal.
