I trip sat in the middle of the day for some friends one time. One of them threw up immediately after eating the mushrooms, before I even got to the house. The 4 of us sat on the couches in the living room watching this show for like 3 hours. They all looked sick and miserable and I was the only one enjoying how ridiculous the show is. They said it was the worst trip they ever had.

So I feel quite confident in my assessment of how these young gentlemen voted…it is a show about making knives, after all. But something about it is so entertaining. It has all the hallmarks of good casual viewing- 4 contestants per ep, interesting multi step goals with unrealistic time constraints, knowledgeable judges who destroy their work in a series of tests (let’s smash your blade against a rock several times and then see if it can still slice a pig carcass!), and a deeply hot host with the dumbest name you can think of (Wil Willis, in this case). I haven’t learned anything about forging a knife. I suppose you probably could from watching this show? but I’m honestly only in it for the dopamine hit of watching one of the judges say the words “eet‘ll keel”

Happened to me one time where I nearly threw up 10 mins after taking them and then had 30 minutes of eternal suffering but walking around outside immediately fixed me. For future reference

REC - GETTING FOOD THAT IS BAD FOR YOU THEN DRIVING TO A PARK AND EATING HALF OF IT THEN
walking around for an hour listening to your friends talk about some traumatic things. It didnt clear my head or help but i felt better for listening to them

GOING IN BLIND
My god everything is experienced better this way. Stop looking at guides, walkthroughs, endings explained (my least favorite), even the blurbs on the back. Such a rare opportunity in this time to go into something without knowing anything about it, yet so rewarding. To be pleasantly surprised or blown away, to have no idea what’s happening, to find that you really didn’t like it, an opinion formed on your own.. nothing is more valuable
