My roommates kid sister is over, so I’ve been annexed from my usual smoking gargoyle couch spot and taken shelter in our personal apartment alley/back porch.
This is maybe one of the least aesthetic smoking images you will see today. No greenery, cobwebs, dirt, a Ripstik™️ , a neglected yoga mat. I could technically walk to a park with grass, but this area is really weed un-friendly and I’m brown. Moreover, I just don’t feel the need to do so. I‘m a super heavy smoker, i’m not walking 2 blocks every 30 minutes.
I appreciate the back porch because I see interesting bugs, hear neighbors and people walking by, feel the wind, see new weeds grow, and catch rays of sun I wouldn’t have otherwise as someone who’s been indoors a little too much recently
Love ur lil smoking spot, temporary or permanent. Go to your spot with gratitude. it’s your little area, and it‘s nice to be outside (most of the time)

nothing like finding a solid spot to sit and enjoy nature. if your lucky enough to liv within walking distance to a pretty park or beach please go take advantage. bring a book, sumn to smoke on, some food n couple drinks. make it a day / night. find some peace, find yourself✌️

My stoner days are mostly over but every once in a while I'll hit a j and amble around whatever neighborhood strikes my fancy..... it's so nice.... if the weather's good you can also go to a park and lie in the grass. feel the breeze on your face. God is real

I’m not off streaming, but these are some things I do to feel the fun in movies/music again and diverge. I’ve always kinda been a CD supremacist and saved/kept buying them, it’s never too late to start, for any medium!
- investing in some equipment like DVD, CD, cassette, etc players if you don’t have the old ones to dig out, or they’re too messed up. A decent DVD player is super inexpensive these days, avoid internet nostalgia up-sellers
- going to any random thrift store, including the “bad ones”, and really going through their book/CD/DVD inventory THOROUGHLY. Pick up what looks interesting, it’s likely something you already have in your digital library will be there for cheap and to own forever.
- patronizing remaining movie stores, they can be few and far between but the people who run them are usually very passionate about film. If you have one within a reasonable distance from you, it feels great to take a DVD back they recommended you or a familiar classic. Going to the movie store can be so fun and is something we’ve been deprived of since DVD’s decline. Same for music shops
- exploring obsolete mediums, if you end up getting a VCR you can find tapes for super duper cheap and watch a lot of movies and expand your library fast!
- movie or music or medium specific swaps if they’re in ur area, or trade with fellow enthusiasts anywhere you can find them, even online movie clubs

I went to an incense making class earlier this year for my birthday, it’s super easy and makko powder is basically the ONLY thing you need to buy to make incense at home. It‘s pretty cheap and lasts a while, you can get it on amazon.
All you need to make incense is equal parts makko powder, your dried+pulverized herbs/flowers/etc, and water (give or take on the water, use your intuition). And boom, you have incense “dough” that you can now shape into cones, dry, and burn. I’ve been making incense with what I can find around me, natives and invasive plants. It’s awesome and I totally recommend it. Making incense makes me feel like the computer energy is leaving my body.

He passed in May, he was 11 years old. His name is Bear/Tarzan. It broke me. I always thought this was one of my favorite pictures of him, I’m really glad I had it saved somewhere else because I took it a while back. I was so happy to find it I cried. I want to get this picture tattooed one day. I miss my big gorgeous angel boy so so so much. <3
