One of my favorite bands ever releasing an incredibly beautiful album. I absolutely love the new direction theyโve taken with it and their ability to create such variation from album to album
First listen, unfortunately sounds like such a Disney film soundtrack, overly bright and expectedly theatrical. gonna give it another listen and share thoughts in the comments but safe to say I miss Isaac Wood's presence so much :/
Warm folsky beauty that does not give up their experimentalism at all. I wasn't a big fan of their first two albums but this is so great. Check it out if you like Joanna Newsom
Nothing is an amazing shoegaze/hardcore adjacent band!! One of my favorites of the 20โs!! You can also check out Horsegirlโs debut record Versions of Modern Performance which is shoegaze adjacent but more slacker rock!!
Both artists have way different vibes but are both incredible! Joanna Newsom is more like baroque folk and she has this amazing ability to create some of the most beautiful melodies ever. Cindy Lee is more alternative rock and her album Diamond Jubilee that came out last year was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend both!!
