it’s just so perfectly designed to me and completely realistic in a way i appreciate. it’s iconic to me. i really hate the show friends but i imagine in some ways the way i feel about the basement is the way friends fans feel about the apartment
the others that come to mind: homes from what we do in the shadows (the show) and knives out, the palace in marie antoinette, and the truman show town. patrick bateman’s creepy apartment. everything in fantasmas, the french dispatch, twin peaks, and but i’m a cheerleader. the houses in haunting of hill house/bly manor, clue, and the home in beetlejuice after lydia’s family moves in lol. and the fraggle rock town if that counts :)
